About theArtist

Erin O’Brien is a Los Angeles based multi-disciplinary artist and tattooer.  Born and raised in Southern California, she studied fine arts at USC (2015), and began tattooing in 2019. She is interested in pristine, glittering and vaguely graphic realism. Her work explores the tension between the beauty and violence of femininity, and the surreal quality of embodied, tactile experience in contemporary life. Permanence, or the lack of it, is a central theme across both all disciplines.

Her work has been featured in Pitchfork and LA Guide, and she tattoos out of Jelly Los Angeles.
